Like possibility manifested
Gaping, sweet nectar of fruitful daydreams exposed
Your mystery sprouts like apples in my mind’s eye
My kisses want to taste you.

Like a sun swelling in the sky
Rays like ribbons grazing rose fields
Dancing aglow with a new muse radiant in red
You summon poetry from a place my heart
Thought it has forgotten

I want to learn how to be here all over again.
