I Wrote It Yesterday...

but the internet wasn't working in the best western ithaca hotel.

what you want me to do! I'm sorry!

If my vision wasn't impaired by the carats I was staring at,
It could have been repaired by the carrots I could eat.

My mind was so focused on being signed,
I couldn't focus on the signs for me.

See, while I was driving through life blind, signing autographs,
my auto crashed into a sign, said D,

"Your option left is to switch to the right",
but left the decision up to the person in the driver seat.

Now I could take that as a sign, scribed and signed,
By the divine Woman/Man above,

Or I can stay riding off the path in pathologic denial,
Writing it off like tax deducts.

Tryna fast from a fast life fast to get tiresome,
Cuz some tires can't stand the bumps.

And you can run past it, but you gotta catch breath sometime,
And that's when the past catches up.

And it caught up.

And I'm caught up.

I think it's time for change.

The times are changin'...
